September was just as busy and with a friends' wedding up in Gretna Green in the middle of it too.
Started off on the 6th with an all day wedding at a beautiful venue in Coates near Whittlesey, Cambs. The night ended with lots of Brazillian and Latin music, which is great to dance to.
12th saw me back at my residency at Bijou in Peterborough for a Club Classics Night.
The 13th was a bit of a mad one. My friends' stag due in York went down quite well, with many a drink being had, only to be called in to Bijou to help out for the evening. Luckily, I managed to sober up on the train back from York and managed to pull it off and played a great RnB set for the night.
The 20th was spent at the beautiful Normanton Hotel in Rushden Lakes for a wedding. A fantastic night and has so many people come up to me and compliment on the music and the vibe I had created for them. The groom's comment moved me, saying that I had 'made the day' for them both. This is one of the most important things for me, to ensure the happy couple have the best time possible and for me to make their day as special as it can be.
The following week, my wife and I were up in Scotland for our friends' wedding and I had the honour to walk the bride down the aisle to give her away. Then a mad rush back down to Cambridgeshire on the Saturday morning to load the van up and get myself over to Leeds Hall in Eye, Peterborough for a wedding. Again, a great night had by all and helped make another couples' day extra special.
