October 25

4th October was time (or so I thought) a night off for me to enjoy some time with my whole family at my Sister-in-Laws wedding back at Normanton Hotel in Rutland. But, of course, I knew the DJ's she had hired (I asked to be a guest for the night rather than DJ for her), I got talking to them and they asked me to do a set later in the evening. I said 'we'll see' and thought nothing of it from there. The music never really went above background music for what seemed to be a very long way into the evening and I had 4 people approach me to ask me to do a set to get the party started ! Of course, I had to oblige and off I went. Got the party started and then handed back over an hour or so later and went to dance the rest of the night away with my family.

The 10th saw me back at my residency for Spectra down at OutOut Nightclub, St Ives for a night of House Music, finishing at 4:30AM (I don't know why I put myself through this !).

The following day an early set up at the Peterborough Bowls Club for a party for our friends to celebrate their wedding with all the people that couldn't attend the wedding in Scotland. Finishing the night with some Scooter, as this is the grooms favourite artist and even got him dancing !!

Half way through the month and the 18th saw the very 1st Big Sky Adult Event. These are now going to be held regularly at the Big Sky Soft Play Centre in Peterborough. We play some great tunes, loads of dancing, full use of the soft play centre, bouncy castle, oversize darts, music bingo, a little more dancing and of course some great cocktails too !!!

This was great fun and sold out all 150 tickets very quickly. The next one is being held on Friday 19th December and will be the Christmas Extravaganza. Loads of cheesey tunes and loads of Christmas stuff too. Tickets will get sold out for this one, so grab yours from their website.

Back at my residency at Bijou Peterborough for the 24th which coincided with the Raveyard event downstairs too. Those boys really rock the trance music and it was good to catch up with some friends too. I must say, I've never seen so many DJ's in one place as that night ! I counted 15 of us at one point. Nicky T and AJ paid a visit, The Nearo boys all came in for the night too, good to see the guys as I've played several gigs with Edge and Oscar.

Then time for a rest. Off to our caravan for the week with my better half and our youngest (14) for a week of chilling out during half term.

But the rest is always short lived as we were back on Saturday 31st in time for a drive over to The Swan and Littleport to host their Halloween Night and some great tunes from the 'Kevin and Perry' era of Ibiza.
